Who we are

Vibe for fun runs live online game-making sessions for children aged 7–13 in the United States, Canada and Europe. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Questions or requests go through our contact form.

Information we collect

  • Parent or guardian details: name, email address, the group you choose, any notes you add, and your consent confirmation.
  • Enquiries: name, email, optional school or company, and your message.
  • Payment details: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we keep only the payment status and amounts.
  • Basic usage data: anonymous page-visit statistics that help us see which pages are useful.

Children's information

We deliberately keep children out of our records. Accounts, bookings and payments are made by a parent or guardian, and children do not create accounts or profiles with us. A parent's ticked consent box on the booking form is our verifiable parental consent for the child to take part in a live session.

During sessions a child appears on video with the instructor and up to five other children, and shares the game they are building. We do not record sessions, we do not build advertising profiles, and we never sell information about a family or a child. If a child's first name or their game appears anywhere public, we ask the parent first.

Why we use it

To hold a seat, run the sessions, take payment, send the meeting link and receipts, and answer your questions. That's all.

Who we share it with

Only the services that make the classes work: Stripe for payments, our hosting and database provider for storing bookings, and Google Meet for the live session itself. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

How long we keep it

Booking and payment records are kept while your child attends and for up to seven years afterwards where tax and accounting rules require it. Enquiries are deleted within two years. You can ask us to delete anything sooner that we are not legally required to keep.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you and your child, and you can withdraw consent at any time — including under COPPA in the United States, PIPEDA in Canada and the GDPR in Europe. We reply within 30 days. Send the request through our contact form.

Security

Information is stored on encrypted, access-controlled servers, and payment data stays with Stripe. No system is perfect, so if a breach ever affects you we will tell you promptly.

Changes

If we change this policy we update the date above, and we email families with an active booking when the change is significant.
